EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior outside hitter Abby Welch had 15 kills, one off her career-high, and East Stroudsburg University won the first set before falling 3-1 to Lock Haven in PSAC women's volleyball on Saturday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Senior Allye Preziosi had four kills, 27 assists and 11 digs, sophomore libero Maddie Hutchison had 24 digs and redshirt sophomore Haley Mork added 10 digs for ESU. Freshman middle blocker Hanna Bergen had three kills and five blocks (four block assists).

Bailey Farthing had 10 kills, Kaleigh Hudak had nine and Cody Anderson and Megan Flick eight each for Lock Haven (11-7, 2-4). Jessica Brown had 29 assists, Bethany Burns posted 18 digs and Sydney Belcastro had 17 digs.

Lock Haven won by set scores of 22-25, 25-12, 25-18 and 25-12.

The Warriors (5-13, 1-6) are at Kutztown on Tuesday before hosting Shippensburg on Friday at 7 p.m., and Millersville on Saturday at 1 p.m.
