KUTZTOWN - Junior Kayla Grossi tied for 14th with a two-day total of 182 to lead East Stroudsburg University at the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Berkleigh Golf Club.

ESU finished seventh of eight teams in a field that included 41 finishers. Kutztown won with a score of 673, followed by West Chester (708), Millersville (710), Le Moyne (727), Division III McDaniel (753), Kutztown Maroon (775), ESU (829) and DIII Alvernia.

Grossi shot an opening round 89 and closed with a 93. Junior Malene Frost and sophomore Bridget Simons tied for 26th at 193, and freshman Jen Jordan was 40th at 261.

Madison Houseal of Kutztown was the medalist at 163, winning by four strokes over Amber Rohrer of Millersville.

The Warriors will travel to Reading for the Alvernia Fall Invitational at Reading Country Club on Tuesday.
