EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior outside hitter Abby Welch had 14 kills and senior setter Allye Preziosi had 23 assists to lead East Stroudsburg University in a three-set loss to Kutztown in PSAC East women's volleyball on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Welch was in double figures in kills for the third straight match and the 13th time this season for ESU (6-24, 2-17), which heads to Millersville and Shippensburg this weekend.

Junior outside hitter Shannon Hillsinger contributed eight kills and hit .350 on 20 attacks. Sophomore libero Maddie Hutchison had 14 digs and junior Erin Rothrock added 10.

Audrey Stringer led Kutztown (12-16, 6-11) with nine kills and five total blocks. Danielle Van Buren had eight kills, Anna Conti had 28 assists and Chelsea Braga had a team-high 12 digs.

Kutztown won by scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.
