EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University will head into the PSAC women's basketball tournament as the PSAC East's No. 6 seed and travel to Millersville for a first-round game on Saturday night after finishing the regular season with an 86-57 loss to Bloomsburg on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.
ESU (7-19, 6-16) will play in the PSAC Tournament for the first time since the 2007-08 season, when the Warriors were the No. 4 seed with four teams advancing to the postseason. This is the first year of an expanded six-team playoff field in both the PSAC East and PSAC West.
Bloomsburg (21-5, 17-5) will be the No. 1 seed after Shippensburg posted a 72-62 win at Millersville to earn the No. 2 seed.
Dana Wieller had 17 points and Lauren Ellis posted 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead four Huskies in double figures. Catherine Noack had 12 points, Alyssa Flanagan 10 and Marla Simmons nine for Bloomsburg.

Jessica Martin had 10 points and nine rebounds to pace ESU. Senior forward
Fayola Moise had nine points and seven rebounds, sophomore guard
Ryann Fiascki had nine points and four assists, and junior guard
Andrea Veres and freshman guard
Tyeca Reviere both had six points.

Barb Borst had five points, four rebounds and two assists in her 100th career game for the Warriors. She was recognized prior to the game along with seniors Moise and
Kelly Sorber, who played their final home game at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Saturday night's PSAC first-round game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. Millersville's men's team, the PSAC East's No. 3 seed, hosts Shippensburg in the second game at 7:30 p.m.
GAME NOTES
* ESU's first trip to the PSAC Tournament since 2008 will come at the same site. The Warriors fell at Millersville, 66-51, in the PSAC quarterfinals as the No. 4 seed.
* The previous season, ESU fell to California (at Millersville) in the PSAC semifinals.
* Martin, last year's PSAC East Freshman of the Year, ends the regular season as ESU's top scorer (11.0 ppg), rebounder (8.3 rpg) and shot blocker (2.3 bpg). She ranks 4th in the PSAC in blocks and 6th in rebounds.
* Veres (9.2 ppg), Fiascki (8.2 ppg) and Moise (6.7 ppg) follow Martin on ESU's scoring list. Moise is the 2nd-leading rebounder with 6.0 per game.

Helena Gemmell is 3rd in the PSAC in steals with 2.6 per game. Her 63 steals this season are 6 away from a spot in ESU's top 10, and are the 2nd-most by a freshman behind Stacy Perryman, who had 75 in 1992-93.

Michelle Boggs is 9th in the PSAC in blocks with 1.2 per game. Her 28 blocks are 5 away from a spot in ESU's top 10, and are the 3rd-most by a freshman. Martin set an ESU and PSAC freshman record with 76 blocks last season.
