KUTZTOWN - Sophomore Kayla Grossi tied for 13th with a career-low round of 93 as East Stroudsburg University finished third at the Kutztown Spring Invitational at Berkleigh Country Club on Saturday.

Sophomore Malene Frost was 20th with a 99, senior Alycia Jones tied for third at 102 and freshman Bridget Simons was 25th with a round of 103. The par-74 course played at 5,900 yards.

Kutztown won the team title by 17 shots (350-367) over West Chester, with ESU third at 397. Millersville was fourth (400), followed by Le Moyne (406), Franklin & Marshall (426) and Alvernia (438).

Kutztown's Jackie Clifton and West Chester's Gabrielle Couture tied for medalist honors with rounds of 85.

The Warriors are at West Chester's Edwin Cottrell Invitational on Sunday and Monday at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
