EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Allye Prezioisi and junior
Annabelle Charlton both recorded triple-doubles, leading East Stroudsburg University to a pair of wins over Mercy College (3-2) and the University of the Sciences (3-0) to open the 2013 women's volleyball season on Friday at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Charlton had a career-high 18 kills, 17 assists and 10 digs in the five-set win over Mercy, as the Warriors battled back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to outlast the Mavericks. ESU opened the fifth set with a 9-1 run to win 19-25, 25-14, 17-25, 25-21 and 15-8.

Sydney Galoozis had 11 kills in her ESU debut, Preziosi had seven kills, 17 assists and 10 digs and sophomore libero
Maddie Hutchison added 15 digs.
ESU hit .217 for the match, including .500 (13-1-24) in the second set and .444 (8-0-18) in the decisive fifth set.
The Warriors pounded a .304 attack percentage against USciences to win 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.
Galoozis had 12 kills to lead three Warriors in double figures, along with 11 from junior outside hitter
Abby Welch and 10 from Preziosi.
Preziosi added 16 assists and 12 digs for her first career triple-double for the Warriors. She was one dig away from a triple-double against Kutztown last season.
Charlton had four triple-doubles last fall. She had six kills, 15 assists and five digs while playing the first two sets against USciences.
Galoozis was one of seven Warriors to see their first career action. Freshman outside hitter

ESU will host five more matches on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse, beginning at 10 a.m.
The Warriors are on the floor at 2 p.m. vs. Le Moyne, and 7 p.m. vs. Georgian Court. Le Moyne had wins over Mercy and Georgian Court on Friday.
