EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior Annabelle Charlton turned in her second triple-double as many days, leading East Stroudsburg University to a 3-0 win over Georgian Court and a 3-1 record in this weekend's season-opening ESU Invitational on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Charlton had 11 kills, 10 assists and 10 digs in ESU's 25-17, 25-21, 25-23 win over Georgian Court, and had a career-high 18 kills, 17 assists and 10 digs in a five-set win over Mercy on Friday.

The Warriors also topped the University of the Sciences, 3-0, on Friday and fell to Le Moyne, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Junior outside hitter Abby Welch had 11 kills against Georgian Court, tying her career-high she set against USciences on Friday.

Senior Allye Preziosi, who had a triple-double against USciences (10 kills, 16 assists, 12 digs), had five kills, 18 assists and seven digs in the win over Georgian Court as well.

Junior middle blocker Elizabeth Higley added seven block assists, part of ESU's 11 total team blocks. Sophomore libero Maddie Hutchison had 13 digs.

Against Le Moyne, Charlton had nine kills, 10 assists and 15 digs and Preziosi had three kills, 15 assitss and nine digs in a 25-22, 25-22, 25-18 setback. Welch and freshman outside Sydney Galoozis both had seven kills.

For the weekend, Charlton led the Warriors with 44 kills, 52 assists and 40 digs - pacing the team in kills and ranking second in the latter two categories. Preziosi had 25 kills, 66 assists and 38 digs, Galoozis had 32 kills, Welch had 31 and Hutchison (48) and redshirt sophomore Haley Mork (34) led ESU in digs.

Higley (16) and freshman middle blocker Hanna Bergen (12) were the team leaders in blocks.

The Warriors are back in action next weekend with two matches as part of a tri-match at Koehler Fieldhouse.
