EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Allison Schafer won the 500 free and 1000 free and swam her sixth PSAC qualifying time of the season for East Stroudsburg University as LIU Post notched a 150-104 dual win over the Warriors on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Schafer swam 10:53.05 in the 1000 free to hit the PSAC qualifying standard. She also has qualifying times in the 200, 500 and 1650 free, 200 fly and 400 IM so far this season.

Schafer won the 500 free in 5:20.72.

LIU Post set three pool records. Carolin Rademacher took down two Koehler Fieldhouse marks, in the 200 breast (2:23.22), breaking the record of 2:27.87 set by C.W. Post's Katy May in 2004, and 200 IM (2:08.82), breaking the record of 2:11.87 set by Lock Haven's Brittany Rehrig in 2011. Johanna Pettersson broke the 200 back record (2:06.95) of 2:09.20 set by Bridgeport's Sandra Schmitz in 2009.

ESU was second in three events – junior Karoline Vavra in the 100 free (56.02), junior Mara Palazzari in the 100 fly (1:03.38) and freshman Kandis Venn in the 100 back (1:12.40).

Vavra was third in the 50 free (25.65), Palazzari in the 50 fly (28.43), Schafer in the 200 IM (2:21.14), Venn in the 100 fly (1:10.46), sophomore Sophie Coy in the 100 breast (1:13.80) and freshman Jennifer Lauer in the 200 back (2:22.15).

The Warriors are on the road for dual action the next two Saturdays, at Millersville this week and Bloomsburg on January 25. They host the ESU Invitational on February 1 before heading to York for the PSAC Championships on February 20-23.
