EAST STROUDSBURG – Centenary won six bouts by decision and another by forfeit to post a 24-13 win over East Stroudsburg University in non-conference wrestling on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Centenary won key bouts at 149, 165 and 184 to seal the dual victory.
In the match of the night at 165 pounds, Centenary senior Chris Burdge, ranked No. 1 in Division III, won a 7-2 decision over ESU redshirt senior
Braden Turner, ranked No. 5 in DII. Turner falls to 24-5 and lost for the first time since the PSAC Championships on December 7, ending an 11-match winning streak on the mat.
Burdge, a three-time DIII All-American, and Turner, a 2012 DII All-American and two-time national qualifier, split their first two meetings.
Burdge led 4-2 going into the third period, getting a first-period takedown and a second-period reversal. Turner chose top and Burdge escaped 30 seconds into the third period, then got a takedown with a minute to go.
McKeown, a returning All-American ranked No. 5 in DII at 174 pounds, improved to 10-2 overall and 6-0 on the mat since returning from injury on January 5. He won an 18-1 technical fall over Jon Acosta, terminating the match at 4:32 in the second period, after building a 13-1 lead after one period.

Luke DeLuise at 184 pounds, getting a takedown and two back points in the final eight seconds.
Searer, a returning national qualifier, won a 17-1 technical fall over Vincent Cordasco, coming with six seconds left in the second period.
At 285, Centenary's Brian Grise used the riding time point for a 6-5 decision over freshman
Tyler Richardson, after Richardson scored a reversal to tie it at 5-5 with 10 seconds left.
Marino opened the night with a 4-2 decision over Erick Orellana at 125 pounds, scoring takedowns in each of the first two periods.
Centenary's Zach Huxford, a returning DIII qualifier, won an 8-4 decision against freshman
Joey Kratochvil at 133 pounds on the strength of one takedown in each period.
The Cyclones' Collin Farley won an 8-3 decision over redshirt freshman
Marius Kola at 141, and Joe Bartolini won a 6-5 decision over junior
Joseph Hoy at 149 with a reversal with 35 seconds left.
Centenary's Craig Montgomery won by forfeit at 157.
ESU returns to the mat on Sunday with a trip to Greensburg, Pa. to face Seton Hill.
