Ally Roth had a goal and an assist, including the game-winner on a penalty stroke 6:42 into overtime, as No. 7-ranked East Stroudsburg University rallied for a 2-1 (OT) win over Bloomsburg in PSAC field hockey on Saturday at Whitenight Field.

Katie Barbato scored the game-tying goal with 9:10 left in regulation on an assist from Roth before the Warriors (5-5, 4-3) won it in overtime.

Bloomsburg (3-6, 2-5) took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Stephanie Halsted with 8:25 left until halftime.

Danielle Ard made seven saves for ESU. Shots were even, 9-9, with ESU holding a commanding 17-3 advantage in penalty corners - including six in overtime.

Roth, the PSAC's leading scorer with 12 goals entering the weekend, has 13 goals this season and 44 in her career, two away from second-most in school history.

ESU improves to 7-45 in the all-time series against Bloomsburg and has won two of the last three games. Last year's 4-2 victory at home was ESU's first-ever over the Huskies at Whitenight Field.

The Warriors travel to Mansfield for a 4 p.m. game on Tuesday. The Mounties are 2-8 (2-6 PSAC), including a 7-0 loss at ESU on September 9.
