EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior midfielder Becky Gagliardi and senior forward Jessica Lawville were the goal scorers and No. 7-ranked East Stroudsburg University held a 32-0 advantage in shots in posting a 2-0 win over Dowling in non-conference field hockey on Sunday afternoon at Whitenight Field.
 
Gagliardi scored with 1:51 left in the first half and Lawville scored on an assist from junior forward Ally Roth with 13:44 remaining in the game for ESU (8-5), which won its fourth straight game. The Warriors were coming off a 2-1 (OT) win at Mercyhurst on Saturday with Roth scoring both goals.
 
Ariana Ovadia made 16 saves in goal for Dowling (2-11).
 
ESU returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. with a PSAC game against Seton Hill.

* Gagliardi's goal was her 2nd of the season and the 7th of her career. She made her 61st career start.
* Lawville's goal was her 11th of the season and the 34th of her career. She is one goal from ESU's career top 10.
