IndividualHERSHEY - California won its fifth PSAC women's golf championship in seven years as the conference held its annual tournament at Hershey Country Club East on Saturday and Sunday.
East Stroudsburg University placed eighth of nine schools, and freshman
Samantha Miller was 34th as ESU's top individual in a field of 45 golfers.
Miller shot a two-day total of 176 on the par-71 layout, carding 93 on Saturday followed by 83 on Sunday for ESU's low round of the weekend.

Kayla Grossi was 36th at 183, followed by senior
Malene Frost (38th - 186), junior
Bridget Simons (42nd - 193) and freshman
Mackenzie Mathna (44th - 203).
Kutztown's Lauren Smith won the individual title by two strokes over Carla Maestre (California) and Lacey Bensing (West Chester). Smith shot the tournament's low round with a 75 on Saturday and carded 80 on Sunday for a 13-over par 155.
California (633) posted a nine-shot margin of victory over Kutztown (642), followed by Gannon (651), Mercyhurst (656), Seton Hill (660), West Chester (664), Millersville (685), ESU (738) and Clarion (741).
ESU finished ahead of a PSAC school for the second time in six years at the championship, and ahead of a Division II school for the second time this fall.
