EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University is ranked No. 5 in this week's NSCAA Division II women's soccer poll, moving up one spot and attaining the highest national ranking in program history, it was released Tuesday.
The Warriors (12-1, 11-1 PSAC) extended their winning streak to 12 games with two victories last week, 3-2 at Millersville on Tuesday and 1-0 (OT) vs. Shippensburg on Saturday.
ESU is the first PSAC school ranked in the NSCAA top 5 since October 9, 2012, when West Chester was ranked No. 2.
ESU was ranked No. 6 the last two weeks, No. 16 on Sept. 30 and No. 25 on Sept. 23.
This marks the Warriors' fifth week in the top 10 in program history. They were previously ranked No. 6 on September 17 last season, and were tied for 10th for one week in September 1999.

ESU's current 12-game winning streak is the second-longest in school history. The Warriors have an opportunity to match the school single-season record of 13, set in 1994, when they host Seton Hill (5-7-2, 5-5-2) on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
The Warriors are tied for the PSAC lead with West Chester with 33 points through 12 of 16 games. ESU owns a 2-1 (OT) win at West Chester on September 30.
ESU is second in the PSAC with 2.39 goals per game and tied for second with 0.62 goals allowed per game, holding a 31-8 goal differential through 13 games. ESU has six shutouts and has allowed more than one goal just once this season.
The Warriors' 31 goals have come from 13 different players - and without a player ranked in the top 10 in the PSAC in goals per game or points per game.
ESU's statistical leader is freshman back
Amanda Vojta, who is tied for second in the PSAC with 0.62 assists per game (eight assists in 13 games). Vojta had a goal and an assist, both off corner kicks, in ESU's 3-2 win at Millersville on Tuesday.

Jules Harris is second in the PSAC in goals against average (0.56) and third in save percentage (0.872), making 41 saves and allowing just six goals in 970:57. She has five shutouts in 11 starts.

ESU has two games this week, hosting Seton Hill on Wednesday and traveling to Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday.
ESU and West Chester are five points ahead of California (28 - 9-2-1) in the PSAC standings. Kutztown is fourth (27 - 9-3) and Slippery Rock (25 - 8-3-1) and Edinboro (25 - 8-4-1) are tied for fifth.
