Laurel Neira's header off a corner kick was the game-winner with 1:37 remaining, as No. 5-ranked East Stroudsburg University tied a school single-season record with its 13th straight victory in a 2-1 win over Seton Hill in PSAC women's soccer on Wednesday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
ESU (13-1, 12-1), playing with the highest national ranking in school history, took a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute on a header by sophomore forward
Brielyn Hackett off a free kick taken by Vojta.
The advantage stood up until late in the second half, when Seton Hill's Alex McIntosh headed in a corner kick taken by Megan Warman to knot the game at 1-1 with 6:03 remaining.
ESU responded in the closing moments as Neira scored her fifth goal of the season, all off corner kicks, to give the Warriors the victory.
Vojta has 10 assists, tied for the PSAC lead, and has helped the Warriors score on nine corner kicks this season (one goal, eight assists).
Freshman goalkeeper
Jules Harris made seven saves as Seton Hill (5-8-2, 5-6-2) held a 12-7 advantage in shots and 6-2 margin in corner kicks. Carolin Edenhofner made two saves for the Griffins.
The Warriors tied their 1994 team which opened 13-0 with their 13th consecutive victory, all coming after a 1-0 loss to Kutztown in their season opener on September 4. ESU hasn't lost since, winning three games in overtime and eight of its 13 by a single goal - while doubling the school record for consecutive PSAC wins to 12.
ESU maintains a share of the PSAC lead with West Chester with 36 points. The Warriors can secure a top-four finish and a home game in the PSAC quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 4 with a win on Saturday at Pitt-Johnstown (0-15, 0-13).

Courtney Keller for the team lead with five goals. ESU ranked second in the PSAC in goals per game (2.39) entering the night without a player in the top 10 in the conference in goals or points.
GAME NOTES* ESU's 1994 team won the first-ever PSAC women's soccer championship and finished with an 18-2 record.
