Box ScoreLAFAYETTE HILL - Seven players scored a goal as No. 5-ranked East Stroudsburg University tied an overall school record with its 15th straight victory, posting a 7-0 win over Chestnut Hill in non-conference women's soccer on Monday.
ESU (15-1), which set a new standard for a single-season winning streak with its 14th straight win last Saturday at Pitt-Johnstown, matched its 1993-94 teams that had a combined 15-game winning streak (final two games of 1993, first 13 games of 1994).
The Warriors also extended a school record with their ninth straight road win. They have won every game since a 1-0 loss to Kutztown in their season opener on September 4, and have clinched a top-four spot and a home game in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament with two games remaining this weekend - Friday vs. Slippery Rock and Saturday vs. California.
Freshman back
Amanda Vojta notched her 14th assist of the season, moving into a tie for second in ESU's record book, as part of a seven-goal attack.
The Warriors scored four goals in the first 27:02, then added three goals in the second half.

ESU had a 41-9 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks. Eleven of Vojta's 14 assists have come off corner kicks this season.
ESU entered the game with the PSAC's top offense, averaging 2.53 goals per game. The Warriors have a goal differential of 45-9 through 16 games.
The Warriors will go into the weekend tied for first in the PSAC with 39 points, level with West Chester for the top spot. ESU and West Chester are followed by Kutztown (33 points - 11-3), California (32 points - 10-2-2) and Slippery Rock (31 points - 10-3-1). California is the defending PSAC champion and Slippery Rock is the defending NCAA DII Atlantic Region champion.
