WEST CHESTER - Rachal Toppi scored three goals in the first half to lead No. 3-ranked West Chester to a 6-1 win over No. 7 East Stroudsburg University in PSAC field hockey on Friday.
 
Three players scored second-half goals for West Chester (7-1, 5-1), whose only loss was 3-2 (2OT) at Millersville on September 23.
 
Junior forward Ally Roth scored on an assist from senior midfielder Gabrielle Seibert with 5:56 left for ESU (4-5, 3-3), which has dropped three straight games after a 4-2 start.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Danielle Ard made a career-high 11 saves for the Warriors. Sarah Krause had two saves for West Chester, which held a 14-3 advantage in shots in the first half and 19-10 for the game.
 
ESU has an eight-day hiatus and hosts No. 10 Bloomsburg (2-5, 1-4), which plays Mansfield on Saturday.

GAME NOTES
* West Chester holds a 33-4-6 advantage in the all-time series and is 30-0-3 since 1961. ESU's last win was 4-1 in 1960.
* WCU has won all 8 meetings since returning to Division II in 2011.
