MILLERSVILLE - Freshman outside hitter Desiree Claxton had 18 kills and junior libero Maddie Hutchison had 30 digs, leading East Stroudsburg University to its first PSAC women's volleyball win of the season with a 3-0 victory at Millersville on Friday night at Pucillo Gymnasium.
 
Senior outside hitter Abby Welch added 13 kills and senior Annabelle Charlton had seven kills, 13 assists and 12 digs for the Warriors (5-11, 1-7), who ended an 11-match losing streak to Millersville with their first win over the Marauders since 2008.

ESU won by set scores of 31-29, 25-22 and 28-26.
 
Freshman outside hitter Erin Gloor had three aces and sophomore middle blocker Hanna Bergen had five blocks with her only kill of the night coming on the match's final point.
 
Claxton had 13 digs to go with her 18 kills and freshman setter Erica Cunningham added 11 assists for ESU.
 
The Warriors hit .151 for the match, tied for their third-highest of the season and tied for their best against a PSAC school this season. Millersville's .059 attack percentage is the lowest by an ESU opponent in eight PSAC matches.
 
Claxton's 18 kills are her second-highest total of the season as she reached double figures for the 10th time in 16 matches.

Hutchison's 30 digs are tied for ESU's most in a three-set match using a 25-point scoring system, which has been in place since 2008.
 
Hutchison moved into fifth at ESU with 1,243 career digs, and Charlton went over 1,000 career assists, finishing the night with 1,009. She is the ninth Warrior to reach 1,000 assists since 1990.
 
Erin Harman had 15 kills and 15 digs and Katie Lesinski had eight kills and nine digs for Millersville (8-8, 2-6). Victoria Biggins had 29 assists and Brooklyn Smith added 19 digs.
 
ESU will play a 1 p.m. match at Shippensburg on Saturday. The Lady Raiders (8-9, 2-6) dropped a four-set match to Kutztown on Friday night.
