Ryann Fiascki scored a career-high 24 points to lead four players in double figures, and East Stroudsburg University scored its most points against a PSAC school since December 2006 with an 87-74 win at Lock Haven in the Warriors' 2014-15 opener on Wednesday at Thomas Fieldhouse.
ESU (1-0, 1-0 PSAC East) opened the game on a 10-0 run, then used a 19-2 spurt early in the second half to run past Lock Haven (0-3, 0-1).
The Bald Eagles closed the margin to 69-61 at the six-minute mark with a 14-0 run, but ESU answered every challenge as LHU never got closer than eight points down the stretch.
Fiascki surpassed her previous career-high of 18 points, going 9-for-11 from the field and 6-for-7 at the foul line.
Senior forward
Jessica Martin, a three-time All-PSAC East selection, had 17 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots before fouling out with 2:50 remaining.

Andrea Veres scored 14 points in her return to the floor after missing all but six games due to injury last season. Junior guard

Helena Gemmell had eight points, eight rebounds and five steals.
Sami Lane scored 20 points, Marrysa Moyer had 18 points and nine rebounds and Kristi Bair added 11 points and eight rebounds for Lock Haven.
ESU shot 49.2 percent from the field (30-for-61) and 24-for-41 inside the three-point arc. Lock Haven was 26-for-62 (41.9 percent).
The Warriors forced 22 turnovers and had 16 steals - including five by Gemmell, three by Poderis and two each by sophomore forwards
Allison Howard and
Madison Tamburini. ESU had just 14 turnovers, and only six in the second half.
The Warriors' 87 points are their most against a PSAC school since an 87-75 win over Shippensburg in December 2006.
Martin, second in ESU history and 10th in PSAC history with 207 career blocks entering the season, had 5+ blocks for the 14th time in her career. She is 27 blocks from ESU's career record of 239 held by Sue Richards (1982-85). She also went over 900 career points (905).
ESU hosts Millersville (2-1, 0-1) in its home opener on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Marauders fell at PSAC East preseason favorite West Chester, 89-69, on Wednesday night.
