THE MATCH-UP: East Stroudsburg University hosts Millersville in its home opener this afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse. The Warriors (1-0, 1-0 PSAC East) won their season opener at Lock Haven, 87-74, on Wednesday night. Millersville (2-1, 0-1) fell 89-69 at West Chester after wins over UVa-Wise (69-65) and Chowan (49-48) last weekend. ESU is picked 5th in the PSAC East, one spot behind Millersville. The two schools have met in the first round of the PSAC Tournament in both of the last two seasons - ESU won, 49-48, last March on a 3-pointer by Sr. G Ryann Fiascki with 1.9 seconds left.

LAST TIME OUT: Fiascki scored a career-high 24 points and Jr. F Jessica Martin had 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks in ESU's win at Lock Haven on Wednesday. The Warriors' 87 points were their most in a PSAC game since an 87-75 win over Shippensburg in December 2006. ESU shot 49.2 percent and forced 22 turnovers (16 steals) in a strong effort on both ends of the floor. WARRIORS NOTES: ESU led the PSAC in field goal defense (37.8) and blocked shots (4.9), ranked 3rd in steals (10.3) and 4th in scoring defense (62.9 ppg) in 2014 ... ESU is coming off its 1st PSAC quarterfinal trip since 2008, and 1st winning season since 2007, going 15-13 last year ... Martin, a 3-time All-PSAC East selection, is 2nd at ESU and t-9th in PSAC history in career blocks (212) and 8th at ESU in rebounds (654) ... she has 905 career points ... Veres is 4th at ESU with 119 3-pointers, returning after a medical redshirt ... Fiascki, in her 4th year as a starter, has 199 career assists.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS: ESU was 2-1 vs. Millersville last year after going 1-13 the previous 7 years ... R-Sr. G Carly Gallagher averages 18.7 ppg, followed by R-Jr. G Shelby Reimer (11.7 ppg) and Jr. F Yasmin Cooper (10.3 ppg) ... R-Sr. F Alexis Martin (6.3 ppg) is the top rebounder (8.0 rpg).

THE MATCH-UP: #4 ESU (2-1, 1-0) hosts Millersville (1-2, 0-1) after a 92-69 win at Lock Haven on Wednesday. The Warriors, ranked in the NABC DII preseason poll for the 1st time in program history, won 92-72 at Lincoln in their season opener before falling 76-71 to CIAA North preseason favorite Bowie State last weekend. Millersville fell to Bowie (76-64), beat Lincoln (66-56) and lost at West Chester (78-49) in its first 3 games.

Head coach Jeff Wilson enters today with 215 career wins, tied with Ken Sisson (19 seasons - 1963-78, 79-83) for the most in program history. Wilson was the Basketball Times and CollegeInsider.com DII Coach of the Year after leading ESU to a history 30-2 season last winter.

LAST TIME OUT: ESU used a 23-4 run spanning halftime to avenge its only regular season loss from 2013-14 on Wednesday at Lock Haven. Sr. G Whis Grant scored 14 of his 18 points in the 2nd half, R-Sr. G Will Brown and Jr. G Jamal Nwaniemeka both scored 14, So.
