JOHNSTOWN - Four Warriors won by decision, but Pitt-Johnstown took a 20-12 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC wrestling on Tuesday night.
 
Sophomore Marius Kola (133), sophomore Joey Kratochvil (157), sophomore Tyler Richardson (197) and senior Tyson Searer (285) posted victories for ESU.

Four of Pitt-Johnstown's six victories came from regionally-ranked wrestlers in No. 3 Evan Link (125), No. 2 Sam Hanau (141), No. 3 Colin Landowski (149) and No. 6 John Blankenship (174). UPJ entered ranked No. 4 in Super Region 1 and receiving votes in the NWCA DII Coaches Poll.

Landowski, ranked No. 8 nationally, won a 5-4 decision at 149 over ESU sophomore Ryan Todora, who made his debut for the Warriors after transferring from Division I Buffalo. Todora is No. 6 in the initial SR1 rankings.

Redshirt senior Luke DeLuise (SR1 #5 at 184), entering his third year as a starter, dropped his season debut by an 8-4 decision to Adam Nickleson.

Kola, Kratochvil and Richardson all improved to 2-0 in duals this year.

Richardson moved to 7-3 on the year after finishing third at the Doug Parker Invitational at Springfield (Mass.) on Saturday. Searer, ranked No. 5 in Super Region 1 at 285, also improved to 7-3 and was fourth at Springfield over the weekend.

ESU hosts Scranton on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in a match that will be broadcast on Blue Ridge TV-13.
