EAST STROUDSBURG - Katelyn Grazan scored the game's only goal 18:31 into the contest as No. 3-ranked Shippensburg edged No. 7 East Stroudsburg University, 1-0, in PSAC field hockey on Wednesday at Whitenight Field.
 
Ally Mooney made nine saves for Shippensburg (13-3, 10-3), which held off an ESU attack that held advantages of 16-7 in shots and 16-6 in penalty corners.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Danielle Ard made two saves for ESU (10-7, 8-5).
 
The Warriors qualified for the PSAC Tournament for the second straight year after Kutztown fell to Millersville, 2-0.
 
ESU is fourth in the PSAC and secured one of the conference's six postseason berths. The Warriors can gain a first-round home game with a win over Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
West Chester (15-2, 12-1) continues to lead the PSAC by a game over Millersville (15-2, 11-2), followed by Shippensburg, ESU, Mercyhurst (9-8, 7-6), Slippery Rock (9-8, 7-6) and Kutztown (8-9, 6-7). Mercyhurst, Slippery Rock and Kutztown are fighting for the final two playoff spots with Mercyhurst at Bloomsburg and Slippery Rock at West Chester this weekend.

ESU will make consecutive PSAC Tournament appearances for the first time since 2001-02.
 
The Warriors will recognize six seniors on Saturday - Katie Barbato, Jessica Ferdinand, Becky Gagliardi, Alexis Good, Jessica Lawville and Gabrielle Seibert - before their final regular season home game at Whitenight Field.
