Andrea Veres scored 10 points each for ESU (2-5), which returns to PSAC action with three games next week - Tuesday at Gannon, Wednesday at Clarion and Saturday vs. Pitt-Johnstown.
Tran scored 15 of her 20 points in the second half for Adelphi (10-0), which pulled away from ESU with a 10-0 run to start the second period. Adelphi led 27-17 at halftime.
Veres hit two three-pointers and has 125 in her career, tied for second-most in school history with Niki Cox (2001-05). Maryellen Onofre (2003-07) holds the school record with 184.

Madison Tamburini scored six points, junior guard
Melissa Poderis had five points and five rebounds and senior forward
Jessica Martin had four points and a season-high 13 rebounds for the Warriors. Martin had her 27th career game with double-figure rebounds.
ESU cut into a 22-point deficit (41-19) with 14:45 left, pulling within 10 (48-38) with just over six minutes left before Adelphi closed with a 17-5 run.
Tran had eight rebounds and Mannix had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds for Adelphi.
The Panthers shot 37.3 percent (25-for-67) from the field and just 2-for-17 from the three-point line. ESU shot 26.2 percent (17-for-65) overall and 6-for-19 from long distance. Adelphi held a 10-point advantage (13-3) at the free throw line.
Adelphi outrebounded ESU, 50-43, and had a 26-19 advantage in turnovers.
ESU travels to Gannon (4-3, 3-1 PSAC West) for a PSAC game on Tuesday in the first of six games against the PSAC West which count in the PSAC standings.
