YORK – East Stroudsburg University placed eighth in the 400 medley relay and 10th in the 200 free relay on the second night of the 2014 PSAC Swimming Championships on Friday.
The Warriors are ninth with 69 points through the first two days of the four-day meet. Their ninth-place finish last year was their best since 2002.

Karoline Vavra swam the 400 medley in 4:01.18.
In the 200 free relay, Vavra, Palazzari, junior
Danielle Davis and Stalnaker were 10th in 1:38.65.

Cyndi Kline were eighth in the 200 medley relay on Thursday night, with Stalnaker leading off with a school-record 28.07 in the 50 back.
Senior
Allison Schafer was 17th in the 400 IM (4:44.93), one spot out of the consolation final, for ESU's best finish in the morning prelims. Schafer was eighth in the 1000 free on Thursday, lowering her own school record to 10:27.96.
West Chester, which has won seven straight PSAC titles, leads the field with 439 points, followed by IUP with 232. ESU trails eighth-place Shippensburg (136) and is 25 points ahead of 10th-place Lock Haven (44), followed by Millersville (42), Kutztown (40) and Mansfield (24).
The championships continue on Saturday and Sunday in York.
