GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Host Tusculum scored four runs in the first inning and three in the sixth to post a 9-4 win over East Stroudsburg University in the Warriors' final game of the Pioneer Classic in non-conference softball on Sunday.
ESU finishes the weekend with a 1-4 record, opening with a 10-0 (5 inn.) win over Mercyhurst before falling to King (Tenn.) twice, Virginia-Wise in extra innings and Tusculum.

Kacie Killeen had two hits each for ESU.
The Warriors scored one run in the third inning as Killeen hit a leadoff single and scored on a two-out double by Wagner. They got within 5-4 with three runs in the fourth on a bases-clearing, two-out double by junior OF
Kasey Meckes.
Tusculum came back with one run in the fifth and three in the sixth, including a two-RBI single by Miranda Beeler, who was 3-for-4.
Kelly King threw a complete game for Tusculum, allowing eight hits, four runs (one earned) and striking out two.
ESU used three pitchers with sophomore
Amanda Carlin (0.2 IP, 3 hits, 4 runs, 2 earned) getting her first start of the season. Freshman Rachel Liguori threw 3.2 innings (4 hits, 2 runs) and senior
Laura Suits threw the final 1.2 (2 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned).
McNeil led ESU offensively in the five games, going 9-for-15 with two doubles, a home run and eight RBI, and had a pair of three-hit games.
Wagner was 7-for-16 with three doubles and four RBI, and junior OF
Cara Woods was 6-for-15 with two doubles, a triple and three RBI.
ESU's next action is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 with a 1:30 p.m. doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom at Zimbar Field.
