HILTON HEAD, S.C. – East Stroudsburg University's women's golf team dropped a dual to Savannah State (Ga.), 479 to 554, on Thursday in South Carolina.

Junior Malene Frost and sophomore Bridget Simons led ESU with rounds of 99. Frost shot ESU's low nine-hole score, carding a 47 on the front.

Savannah State's Jocelyn Williams was the medalist with a round of 85 (44-41), followed by Michelle Gifford (93), Candace Lewis (95) and Abigale Drew (97).

ESU is scheduled to participate in Millersville's Invitational on Sunday at the Crossgates Golf Club.
