WAYNE – Junior Malene Frost was seventh with a round of 93, leading East Stroudsburg University at the Eastern University Invitational on Tuesday at Saint Davids Golf Club.

ESU was tied for second with host Eastern, five shots behind champion Millersville, in a field of 10 schools which included two Division II programs (Millersville, ESU) and eight from Division III.

Lauren Cusack of Neumann University competed unattached and was the medalist with a round of 88, one shot ahead of Paige Brach (Alvernia) and Danielle Freed (Millersville).

Sophomore Bridget Simons tied for eighth at 94, junior Kayla Grossi was 11th with a 96 and freshman Theresa D'Iorio was tied for 26th with a 110.

The par-70 course played at 5,805 yards.

ESU's next action will come on Saturday at Kutztown's Spring Invitational at Berkleigh Golf Club.
