Cara McNeil hitting her third home run of the season for the Warriors in the seventh inning.
West Chester (33-16, 18-8) won the nightcap, 9-1 (6 inn.), with Murl coming on to get the Golden Rams out of a jam in the second inning and allowing three hits the rest of the way. She also hit two home runs, going 3-for-3 with five RBI.
ESU (14-25, 9-15) cut into West Chester's 2-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI single by freshman SS
Rae Holden and had the bases loaded with one out before Murl entered in relief.
Senior
Amanda McKay was 2-for-3 for the Warriors in game two and 3-for-5 in the doubleheader. McNeil was 2-for-6 at the plate and leads ESU in average (.336), home runs (3) and RBI (29) going into the final four games of the season.

Allison Mende threw her third career complete game for ESU in the opener. Freshman

Laura Suits got the assignment in game two.
ESU hosts Kutztown (18-29, 9-17) on Saturday at 1 p.m. before finishing the year at Shippensburg (28-12, 14-10) on Sunday afternoon.
