EAST STROUDSBURG - Freshman midfielder Sammi Ortiz scored her first career goal in the 63rd minute, giving East Stroudsburg University a 1-0 win over Mansfield on PSAC women's soccer on Saturday afternoon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Ortiz scored on a scramble in front of the net to give the Warriors (2-1, 2-1) their second straight PSAC victory after a 2-0 win at Edinboro on Wednesday.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Jules Harris had three saves for her second shutout of the season.
 
ESU held a 10-8 advantage in shots and a 10-3 margin in corner kicks. Alana Greenawalt made four saves for Mansfield (0-4, 0-4).
 
The Warriors are idle until next weekend, with a trip to Erie to face Gannon on Friday and Mercyhurst on Saturday.
