EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore back Laurel Neira scored both goals off headers, including the game-winner 6:51 into overtime, to lift No. 25-ranked East Stroudsburg University to its fifth straight win, 2-1 (OT) vs. Bloomsburg, in PSAC women's soccer on Wednesday night at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Neira scored her first two goals of the season, and the second and third of her career, off corner kicks taken by freshman back Amanda Vojta. She put the Warriors ahead 1-0 in the 56th minute, then delivered the game-winner after ESU (5-1, 5-1) earned consecutive corner kicks in the first overtime session.

Brooke Mohney scored Bloomsburg's goal with 6:11 remaining in regulation, heading in a free kick taken by Chrissy Hollan.

Freshman goalkeeper Jess Hetrick made seven saves in her first career action for ESU, which had a 17-11 advantage in shots. The Warriors scored on two of their four corner kicks, including their only one of the second half.

Megan Deak had five saves for Bloomsburg (4-3-1, 3-3-1). Deak had allowed just two goals in 560 minutes for a 0.32 goals against average entering the night.

ESU has won five straight games since falling 1-0 to Kutztown in its season opener on September 4. The Warriors have rolled off wins over Edinboro (away, 2-0), Mansfield (1-0), Gannon (away, 2-1) and Mercyhurst (away, 2-1) during a challenging early-season schedule and are back on the road for their next two games - Saturday at Lock Haven and September 30 at No. 7 West Chester.

The Warriors have compiled a five-game winning streak in PSAC action for the seventh time in 21 seasons of PSAC women's soccer (since 1994) and the fourth time under eighth-year head coach Rob Berkowitz. They won six straight PSAC games in his first season in 2007 and had five-game winning streaks in 2008 and 2013.
