Jessica Martin had 14 points and 11 rebounds and East Stroudsburg University survived a Cheyney run over the final 10 minutes, posting a 61-56 road win in PSAC East women's basketball on Wednesday night at Cope Hall.

Allison Howard and
Madison Tamburini both scored 10 points and junior guard
Tyeca Reviere had nine for ESU (6-9, 5-6), which led 56-37 with just under 10 minutes left before Cheyney went on an 18-1 run to close the margin to two (57-55) with 2:50 remaining.
Martin scored ESU's first field goal in more than seven minutes to give the Warriors a 59-55 lead on their next possession, and Howard made one-of-two at the line for a five-point lead with 1:48 left.
Cheyney (3-13, 3-8) didn't score from the field and was 1-for-5 at the foul line over the last 2:30.
Martin extended ESU's lead to six (61-55) with a free throw with 40.9 seconds left, followed by a key offensive rebound by Howard. The Warriors ran 20 seconds off the clock before a Cheyney foul to seal the victory.
Martin had her 24th career double-double and 30th career game with 10+ rebounds to lead the Warriors.
She scored 11 of her 14 points in the second half, including her first three-pointer of the season as part of ESU's push early in the period.
Reviere scored seven of her nine points in the first half as the Warriors opened a 35-22 lead.

Melissa Poderis scored seven points and redshirt senior guard
Andrea Veres added six for the Warriors.
Taschell Phillips scored 13 points off the bench, Kyra Hines-Allen had 12 points and 12 rebounds and TaKayla Ellis had 10 points to lead Cheyney.
ESU shot 43.4 percent (23-for-53) from the field, including 13-for-27 in the first half. The Warriors were 5-for-13 from the three-point line, 10-for-17 at the foul line and committed 17 turnovers.
Cheyney shot 40.4 percent (19-for-47) with a 12-for-19 mark after the halftime. The Wolves were 6-for-15 from long distance with Kia Whitley-Duncan (seven points) hitting two during the second-half run, and 12-for-18 at the line with 19 turnovers.
Wednesday night's game was ESU's first under interim head coach
Lynn Ramage, who joined the program on Monday. Ramage was previously ESU's men's head coach for three seasons (1996-99) and is in his sixth collegiate head coaching stint, most recently guiding Division III Emerson (Mass.) as an interim coach for nine games in 2011.
ESU hosts West Chester (12-3, 8-3) on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse with the Golden Rams second in the PSAC East standings.
