EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior Ashleigh Podhayny and freshman Kate Zimmerman both won two events as East Stroudsburg University posted a 147-109 dual win over Millersville in women's swimming on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Podhayny won the 200 back (2:14.98) and 200 IM (2:17.39) and was also second in the 100 back (1:02.02).

Zimmerman swept the 100 breast (1:08.91) and 200 breast (2:30.95), and the Warriors had four other individual winners - seniors Mara Palazzari and Karoline Vavra, and freshmen Allison Cardow and Annie Fagan.

Vavra took the 100 free in 55.30 and was second in the 200 free in 2:01.84, while Palazzari won the 100 fly in 1:02.97.

Cardow won the 200 fly (2:21.06) and was second to Palazzari in the 100 fly (1:03.95). Fagan won the 50 free (25.52).

Three other ESU swimmers had second-place finishes - senior Shelby Stalnaker (1000 free - 11:33.13), junior Cyndi Kline (500 free - 5:37.99) and junior Sophie Coy (200 IM - 2:19.88).

ESU won both relays with Fagan and Zimmerman contributing to both.

ESU won the 200 medley in 1:54.06 with the quartet of freshman Colleen Dwyer, Zimmerman, Palazzari and Fagan.

The 200 free relay won in 1:42.19 with Zimmerman, Fagan, Stalnaker and Vavra.

The Warriors host Bloomsburg in dual action next Saturday (January 24).
