ERIE - Sophomore Tyler Richardson (197) and junior Tyson Searer (285) won by decision for East Stroudsburg University in a 36-6 dual loss at Gannon in PSAC wrestling on Saturday.
 
Richardson (13-6) and Searer (16-7) both went 2-0 this weekend with victories over No. 5 Mercyhurst on Friday night.

Searer posted two victories over regionally-ranked wrestlers. He won a 3-1 decision in sudden victory over Gannon's fifth-ranked Nick Budd, following a first-period pin (2:18) of third-ranked Andrew Welton of Mercyhurst on Friday.

Searer posted his 50th career win on Friday night and improves to 51-28 in his career, including 30-7 in duals.

Richardson, ranked No. 4 in Super Region 1, won an 8-1 decision over Trevor Beiter after a 3-0 decision over Mercyhurst's Brian Beattie. He is 6-0 on the mat against regional wrestlers this year.

Gannon won four bouts by fall, including two-time All-America and No. 2-ranked Matthew Turek at 125.

Gannon won the only match-up of regionally-ranked wrestlers at 184, where Zachary Zelcs (#2 in region) won a 7-2 decision over ESU redshirt senior Luke DeLuise (#5).

The Warriors host Millersville in a PSAC dual on Thursday against Millersville.
