Box ScoreKUTZTOWN - East Stroudsburg University opened the second overtime with an 11-0 run and held on for an 80-73 (2OT) win over Kutztown in PSAC East women's basketball on Sunday afternoon at Keystone Arena.

Allison Howard scored 17 points, junior guard
Helena Gemmell had 13 points, five rebounds, eight steals and three blocks and junior guard
Tyeca Reviere had a career-high 11 points for the Warriors (8-10, 7-7), who move into a tie for fourth in the PSAC East with Millersville at the end of the first half of divisional play.
Gemmell had a steal, was fouled and made two free throws with 5.6 seconds left in regulation, then had a blocked shot at the buzzer to force overtime.
Kutztown (6-12, 5-9) rallied from a seven-point deficit with 1:32 left in the first OT to force a second extra session.

Andrea Veres hit a three-pointer to start the second OT and junior guard
Melissa Poderis, junior center
Michelle Boggs and Reviere (layup, two free throws) all scored to give ESU a 74-63 advantage with 2:24 remaining.
Kutztown cut an 11-point deficit with 1:33 left to five points with 46.0 seconds remaining, but Poderis made two free throws to stem the surge.
The game featured 94 combined free throws, 66 fouls and 59 turnovers.
ESU shot 27-for-52 from the line for the game, its most free throw attempts in at least 12 years. The Warriors were 15-for-26 in overtime after going 12-for-26 in regulation.
Kutztown was 32-for-42 at the line, including a 15-for-18 performance from Natalya Lee (19 points), who was 2-for-14 from the field.
The Golden Bears had 32 turnovers, including 20 steals by the Warriors. Gemmell had eight, Reviere added five and Poderis and sophomore forward
Madison Tamburini added three each.
ESU shot 38.1 percent (24-for-63) for the game and 8-for-11 between the two overtime periods.
Kutztown shot 29.0 percent (20-for-69) and 1-for-18 from the three-point line.
Veres scored nine points (six in OT) and Boggs (six in OT) and sophomore forward
Rachel Falkowski scored eight each. Boggs added a team-high seven rebounds.
Lee led Kutztown with 19 points, followed by 15 from Elisa Gaffney and nine points and 11 rebounds by Nicole Donahue.
ESU senior forward
Jessica Martin fouled out in regulation (0 points, 3 rebounds) and two of Kutztown's top four scorers fouled out in Advia Campbell (3 points, 4 rebounds) and Alyssa Bonenberger (4 points, 3 rebounds).
ESU led 39-35 after Howard's three-pointer with 13 minutes left in the second half and 44-40 after a three by Gemmell with six minutes remaining before Kutztown rallied to take a 47-45 lead in the final minute.
Gemmell's eighth steal of the game and two free throws forced overtime, and the Warriors surged to a 57-50 advantage with 1:32 left in the first session. ESU was 6-for-12 from the foul line from that point and Kutztown scored nine points in the final 33.2 seconds to send the game to double overtime.
ESU and Kutztown went to overtime for the third time in the last six meetings, splitting the first two. The Warriors won 56-52 at Kutztown in a double-overtime game in February 2012.
ESU hosts Lock Haven (6-12, 5-9) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse. The Warriors won their season opener at Lock Haven, 87-74, on November 19 behind a then-career-high 24 points from senior guard
