GREENSBURG - Junior back Emily Howell had a goal and two assists, leading No. 3-ranked East Stroudsburg University to a 5-0 win at Seton Hill in PSAC field hockey on Saturday morning.

Senior forward Ally Roth scored two goals and junior forward and Marisa Miro and freshman midfielder Paige Harrold also scored for the Warriors (10-2, 5-0), who won their seventh straight game.

Harrold scored 11:40 into the game, assisted by Howell, and Miro scored with nine minutes left in the first half, assisted by senior midfielder Rebecca Snyder, to give the Warriors a 2-0 halftime lead.

Howell scored 11:01 into the second half and Roth had two goals in a 41-second span to set the final margin.

Snyder had two assists and freshman back Makenna Marhefka added an assist for her first career point.

Roth's two goals give her 11on the season and 64 in her career, extending her school record. She has 23 assists for 151 career points, becoming the 13th player in PSAC history with 150 career points.

Howell's goal was her fourth of the season and the sixth of her career. Miro had her second goal of the season and the sixth of her career. Harrold's goal was the second of her freshman year.

ESU held a 20-1 advantage in shots and 10-0 in shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper Danielle Ard played the first 50:45 and sophomore Halle Frisco the final 19:15.

The Warriors held their 12th straight opponent to one goal or less, the second-longest streak in school history behind a 13-game stretch from 1956-58.

ESU was second in DII in goals against average (0.69) entering the week and posted a pair of shutouts, 11-0 vs. Mansfield and 5-0 at Seton Hill. The Warriors hold a 41-7 goal differential through 12 games.

ESU hosts Millersville, currently ranked No. 1 in DII, on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The Marauders, the defending NCAA Division II champions, are 12-0 (5-0 PSAC) entering a non-conference game vs. Limestone on Saturday.
