MILLERSVILLE - East Stroudsburg University won five events and edged host Millersville, 87-77, in the Millersville Relays to open the 2015-16 women's swimming season on Saturday.

Senior Sophie Coy and sophomore Kate Zimmerman were both members of three winning relays and senior Ashleigh Podhayny and sophomores Allison Cardow, Annie Fagan and Shirley Samson were part of two winning relays.

Coy and Zimmerman both contributed to the 400 medley, 400 IM and 300 breast. Podhayny swam on the 200 back and 400 medley, Cardow on the 300 fly and 400 IM, Fagan on the 200 fly and 400 medley and Samson on the 300 breast and 400 IM.

The Warriors open their dual schedule next Friday night as they host Lock Haven at 7 p.m.
