EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore outside hitter Desiree Claxton had 23 kills, but East Stroudsburg University dropped a pair of three-set matches vs. Slippery Rock and Edinboro in PSAC women's volleyball crossover action on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Senior libero Maddie Hutchison had 33 digs and freshman Tina Predojevic had 36 assists and 25 digs for the Warriors (6-17, 1-12).

Claxton had 14 kills, Predojevic had 22 assists and 18 digs and Hutchison had 15 digs in a 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-16) loss to Slippery Rock (10-15, 3-9) in the morning.

Claxton posted nine kills, freshman outside hitter Jineane Hallaj had six kills and seven digs and Predojevic had 14 assists and seven digs in a 25-10, 25-22, 25-14 loss to perennial regional power Edinboro (23-2, 12-1).

Hutchison had double-figure digs in all four matches this weekend, giving her 97 matches with 10+ in 112 career appearances for the Warriors.

ESU returns to PSAC East action with trips to Shippensburg and Millersville next weekend.
