ESU (12-3, 7-1) is tied for No. 1 in this week's NFHCA DII poll with Millersville after a head-to-head win over the Marauders, 1-0, last Tuesday.
Grazan scored on a breakaway on an assist from Emily Barnard just over 12 minutes into the second half for Shippensburg (11-4, 5-3).
ESU had a 12-8 advantage in shots, 7-5 in shots on goal and 6-3 in penalty corners.
Taylor Webster made seven saves for Shippensburg, while junior goalkeeper
Danielle Ard had one save for ESU.
The Warriors end a nine-game winning streak, the second-longest single-season winning streak in program history. Ship has won the last six meetings since ESU's 2-1 win over the No. 1-ranked Raiders in the 2010 PSAC semifinals.
Earlier Wednesday, the Warriors were slotted No. 2 in the initial NCAA DII regional rankings which select the six-team field (three in each region) for the NCAA Tournament.
ESU travels to No. 4 Kutztown (12-4, 7-2) for a 7 p.m. start on Saturday night. The Golden Bears had an eight-game winning streak end at Millersville, 4-1, on Wednesday. Kutztown won the first meeting, 1-0, at ESU on September 12.
