Emily Howell both scored two goals as No. 3-ranked East Stroudsburg University posted an 11-0 win vs. Mansfield in PSAC field hockey on Wednesday afternoon at Whitenight Field.
ESU (9-2, 4-0) led 6-0 at halftime en route to its sixth straight win.

ESU scored double-figure goals for the fourth time in 991 games in program history. The 11 goals are tied for the second-most in school history. ESU beat Hunter College, 16-0, in 1962, Catawba, 11-0, in 2001, and Moravian, 10-0, in 1950.
ESU had 37 shots and 16 penalty corners. Mansfield (0-11, 0-5) had one penalty corner late in the second half.
Roth scored 4:41 into the game on an assist from Miro and Howell, Snyder and Miro all scored to give ESU a 4-0 lead 16 minutes into the game.
Burke (from sophomore midfielder
Sydney McCarthy) and Roth scored late in the first half and Mack made it 7-0 early in the second half. Howell scored midway through the second half and Regman (from Shapiro), Shapiro and Wnorowski found the cage in the last 10 minutes.

Laura Lawson started and had eight saves in 47:09 for Mansfield. Gabrielle Spatz had eight saves in the final 22:51.
ESU has held each of its first 11 opponents to one or zero goals, its longest stretch since 1995 (11). ESU didn't allow more than one goal in a 13-game stretch from 1956-58.
The Warriors entered the week ranked second in DII in scoring defense (0.69 gaa) behind Millersville (0.44). ESU was ninth in goals per game (2.50).
Roth has nine goals this season and 62 in her career, extending her school record. Mack had her 11th career goal (eighth this season), Howell the fourth and fifth of her career, Miro her fifth, Snyder her third and Burke her second.
Wnorowski made her 52nd career start at back and scored her first career goal.
ESU is at Seton Hill (0-10, 0-4) on Saturday. The Warriors host No. 1 Millersville, currently 12-0 (5-0) after a 1-0 (OT) win vs. No. 4 Shippensburg, on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
