Photo GalleryEAST STROUDSBURG - Morgan Griffith had 18 points and 17 rebounds, leading Shippensburg to a 76-56 win over East Stroudsburg University in the PSAC East women's basketball opener for both schools on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.
Griffith, a returning first team All-PSAC East selection, had 16 points and 15 rebounds in the first half for Shippensburg (3-0, 1-0). Stephanie Knauer, Victoria Blackburn and Haley Scullion added 10 points each for Ship.

Imani Brown scored 10 points and junior forward
Madison Tamburini had nine points, eight rebounds and five assists for ESU (0-2, 0-1). Tamburini set career-highs in both rebounds and assists.
Junior forward
Allison Howard had eight points and five rebounds after scoring 18 points in a 65-55 loss to Bowie State in the season opener on Monday night. Senior guard

Tyeca Reviere had four points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Shippensburg, picked second in the PSAC East preseason poll, led 47-25 at halftime with Griffith leading the way.
ESU travels west this weekend with games at IUP on Saturday and Seton Hill on Sunday.
