JOPLIN, Missouri - East Stroudsburg University junior Allison Decker placed 91st in a field of 247 finishers at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Missouri Southern University.

Decker (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) was ESU's fourth national qualifier in the last six years, and the ninth individual to qualify for the NCAA's in program history.

She ran a time of 22:10.1 on the 6K course and was the sixth-best finisher from the Atlantic Region, the same spot where she finished in the regional two weeks ago at Lock Haven to qualify for the NCAA's.

Edinboro's Ida Narbuvoll, the PSAC and Atlantic Regional champion, was the region's only All-America, finishing 37th.

Edinboro (21st), Shippensburg (22nd) and California (25th) were the region's team qualifiers in a field of 32 squads.

Decker led ESU to fourth in the regional two weeks ago, its best finish since placing third in 2003. The Warriors were PSAC runner-up, their best-ever conference finish, on October 24 at Slippery Rock.

Decker completes a cross country season in which she was sixth in the region and eighth in the PSAC. She won individual titles at Fordham, UMass-Dartmouth and Hamilton, and was third at the Paul Short Invitational "Brown" division for ESU's best-ever finish at the prestigious event.

A transfer from Quinnipiac prior to the 2014 season, Decker was second in the PSAC and 10th in the region last fall.

Decker will turn to track and field season, where she was third in the PSAC in the 3K indoors, and fifth in the 5K and sixth in the 10K outdoors as a sophomore.
