BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - East Stroudsburg University won four of the nine bouts contested, including a pin from junior Tyson Searer at 285 pounds, but LIU Post came away with a 26-16 dual win in Super Region 1 wrestling on Thursday night.

Searer, ranked No. 4 in the region at 285, posted his eighth straight win on the mat and 20th victory of the year with a first-period pin (2:17) of James Louison in the final bout of the night.

Searer has won 10 straight matches overall, including two forfeits, to improve to 20-7 on the season. He is 10-4 against in-region competition this year. Searer improves to 34-7 in his career in dual action and had his seventh career fall.

ESU also got wins from sophomore Connor Maliff at 125, redshirt junior Dan Ingulli at 174 and redshirt senior Luke DeLuise at 184.

Maliff posted a 5-0 decision over Tyler Walsh in the night's first bout, improving to 9-9 on the season and 7-5 in duals.

Ingulli, recognized on Senior Night on Tuesday, notched his first career dual win with a 10-0 major decision over James Sinclair.

DeLuise, ranked No. 4 in the region at 184, won a 4-3 decision over Ronnie King. He moves to 12-7 on the season and 10-4 against in-region competition. His career mark as a three-year starter stands at 46-32 overall and 28-14 in duals.

LIU Post had two wins from regionally-ranked wrestlers in Joe Calderone at 133 and Jesse Meaney at 141. Chris DiLorio picked up a forfeit victory at 197.

ESU finishes its dual schedule on Tuesday at Kutztown.
