WEST CHESTER - Senior forward Jessica Martin had 23 points and 12 rebounds, but East Stroudsburg University fell at West Chester, 67-51, in PSAC East women's basketball on Wednesday night at Hollinger Field House.

Dallas Ely scored 17 points and Serifat Junaid had 11 to lead West Chester (20-4, 16-4), which is second in the PSAC East behind Bloomsburg.

Martin had her 26th career double-double, eighth game with 20+ points and 32nd game with 10+ rebounds. She moved into ninth at ESU in career points (1,176), surpassing Nan Wagner (1,162 - 1985-89), and into fourth in career rebounds (822), surpassing Amy Miller (818 - 1984-88).

Martin's 23 points are the second-most in her career behind a 28-point game at California in January.

ESU (10-14, 9-11) jumped out to a 12-5 lead with Martin contributing nine points and six rebounds, but West Chester responded with a 20-2 stretch and led 29-21 at halftime.

The Golden Rams held a 19-7 advantage in turnovers to offset ESU's 48-42 edge in rebounding.

West Chester's seven turnovers are the fewest against an ESU team since at least the start of the 2002-03 season.

Ely, 10th in the PSAC in scoring (14.1 ppg), led seven West Chester players who scored at least five points each.

ESU travels to Mansfield (3-21, 2-18) for a 1 p.m. tip on Saturday. The Warriors posted a 74-53 win over Mansfield on January 21 with sophomore forward Allison Howard contributing 21 points and 10 rebounds.

GAME NOTES
* Bloomsburg (21-3, 18-2) secured at least a share of the PSAC East regular season title with a 71-58 win at Kutztown.

* West Chester (20-4, 16-4) has at least a No. 2 seed and a first-round bye into the quarterfinals. Shippensburg (17-9, 13-7) will be the No. 3 seed.

* ESU (9-11 PSAC) and Lock Haven are tied for the No. 4 spot, with the 4th seed hosting a first-round game on Saturday, February 28. LHU notched a 74-57 win at Cheyney Wednesday night.

* Kutztown (9-12) is one-half game back for the 6th and final spot, followed by Millersville (8-13), Cheyney (4-16) and Mansfield (2-18).
