Steven Morgan had an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the hurdles and East Stroudsburg University athletes won seven individual events and one relay at Kutztown's Last Chance Invitational on Saturday.
The Warriors clocked a handful of new and improved PSAC qualifying times heading into next weekend's PSAC Indoor Championships, which will be held Saturday and Sunday at Edinboro.
Morgan won the 55m hurdles in 7.59, a converted time of 8.18 which meets the DII provisional threshold in the 60m hurdles (8.27). Morgan entered the weekend with the No. 2 time in the PSAC in the hurdles. He also won the long jump (22-4 1/2), where he ranks No. 3 in the conference, to headline the performances for the Warriors' men.
Sophomore
Ronald D'Eliseo, ranked No. 3 in the 55m hurdles, won the 200m in a PSAC qualifying time of 22.82. Junior
Derrick Washington won the 400m in 50.54, and the 4x800m relay of junior
Chris Ott, sophomore
Brad Meixsell, sophomore
Anthony Ruiz and freshman
Sean Halligan won in a season-best 8:43.57.
Morgan (7.59) and D'Eliseo (7.75) ran the No. 2 and No. 6 times in school history in the 55m hurdles, respectively.
Senior
Christina O'Connor, ranked in the top 10 in DII in the high jump, won with a mark of 5-7 3/4, just off her season best of 5-8.

Danielle Smith, a seven-time PSAC sprint champion, won the 55m dash (7.30) and sophomore
Allison Decker won the mile (5:22.95) in a new PSAC qualifying time.
Other new PSAC qualifiers came from freshman
Danielle Swingle in the 400m (1:01.98) and junior
Braeden Rembert in the men's 60m dash (6.70).
Improved PSAC qualifying marks came from sophomore
Alysha Menzies in the weight (44-7 1/2), freshman
Sean Hagerty in the long jump (21-5 1/4) and freshman
Brad Najac in the triple jump (43-6).
ESU has a total of 17 women who have recorded 25 PSAC qualifying marks entering next week's championships, headlined by Smith (No. 1 in 60m dash entering this week) and O'Connor (No. 1 in high jump).
The men have 24 athletes who have combined for 40 qualifying marks, including 12 who are qualified in multiple events. Entering the week, ESU had the No. 2-ranked athletes in the 60m hurdles (Morgan), high jump (junior
