Senior guard Tyeca Reviere scored 15 points, senior forward Jessica Martin had 12 points and nine rebounds and junior guard Helena Gemmell had 10 points to lead ESU (9-12, 8-9), which falls into a tie for fourth in the PSAC East with Kutztown and Millersville. The Warriors have five conference games remaining on their schedule with the fourth-place team hosting a PSAC Tournament first-round game on Saturday, February 28.

Shippensburg (14-8, 10-6), third in the PSAC East, build a 45-26 halftime lead, shooting 58.6 percent (17-for-29) in the first half and 46.8 percent (29-for-62) for the game. Tumasz was 5-for-5 from the three-point line, including 4-for-4 in the first half.

Lauren Gold and Logan Snyder both scored 10 points to give Shippensburg five players in double figures. Stephanie Knauer, Ship's top scorer (14.2 ppg), had nine points.

Griffith was the MVP of ESU's 50th Annual Pocono Classic in late November, posting 33 points and 19 rebounds in two games at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU shot 38.5 percent (25-for-65) and 7-for-16 at the three-point line. Ship held a 12-point advantage at the foul line, going 15-for-21, while ESU was 3-for-8.

The Warriors cut 10 points off a 22-point (53-31) Shippensburg lead with 16:30 left in the second half, pulling within 59-47 on a jumper by junior guard Melissa Poderis at the 9:30 mark, but Ship was able to stem the tide.

ESU travels to No. 17-ranked Bloomsburg (17-2, 15-1), the PSAC East leader, for a 1 p.m. tip-off on Saturday. The Huskies have won 10 straight.
