Box ScoreERIE - Gannon jumped out to a 13-2 halftime lead and posted a 14-6 win over East Stroudsburg University in PSAC women's lacrosse on Saturday afternoon in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Samantha Weinert scored two goals for ESU (4-3, 1-3).
Gannon (4-5, 1-3) was led by Ileyana Little, who scored four goals, Kelley Sundberg (3) and Becky Hilker and Leilani King (2 goals each).

Lauren Nunes had two assists, giving her 16 on the season along with 20 goals. Wiltraut and freshman attack
April Jones also had assists.
Sophomore
Emily Fitzsimmons made her second start in goal and made four saves for ESU.
Alexis Strouse had 10 saves for Gannon. ESU had a 26-23 advantage in shots, including 18-5 in the second half.
ESU led 2-1 eight minutes into the game before Gannon scored 12 straight goals to close the first half. The Warriors scored the first four goals of the second half, blanking the Golden Knights until their final tally with 2:44 remaining.
The Warriors travel to Dominican for a non-conference game on Wednesday before hosting IUP in a PSAC game next Saturday at Whitenight Field.
