EAST STROUDSBURG - Cassidy Pinchorski and Brianna Andraos pitched Millersville to two PSAC East softball wins over East Stroudsburg University, 3-0 and 4-1, on Sunday at Zimbar Field as the two schools split this weekend's four-game series.

ESU (14-9, 7-5) won both games on Saturday at Millersville, 2-1 (8 inn.) and 8-0.

Pinchorski threw a four-hitter for Millersville (15-17, 7-10) in game one on Sunday, and Andraos allowed three hits in game two.

ESU pitchers surrendered just four earned runs on the day. Junior Allison Mende threw a complete game in the opener, yielding two unearned runs in the second inning and one earned run in the sixth.

Sophomore Rachael Liguori went the first 4.1 innings in the circle in game two (three runs, two earned). Junior Amanda Carlin gave up one run in 2.2 innings in relief.

Junior SS Rae Holden had five hits on the weekend, including one in each game on Sunday. She had two home runs in ESU's game two win on Saturday.

Mende (8.0 IP) and Liguori (7.0) didn't allow an earned run in 15.0 innings in the circle on Saturday at Millersville.

ESU travels to Lock Haven on Monday and hosts LHU on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. as a long stretch of PSAC East action continues over the next two weeks.

GAME 1 - L 3-0

Millersville capitalized on a leadoff error for two runs in the second inning, and the score remained 2-0 until a sacrifice fly plated Millersville's third run in the sixth inning.

Freshman OF Katherine Liedberg was 2-for-2 for ESU and Holden and freshman catcher Heather Visco also had hits.

Pinchorski improved to 7-10 on the season for Millersville, striking out eight and walking one.

Mende, who had won three straight starts, threw her fourth straight complete game and allowed just four hits.

GAME 2 - L 4-1
 
Millersville led 2-1 after the first inning, and added single runs in the fifth and sixth frames.

ESU scored in the bottom of the first as freshman 3B Mary Wallick hit a one-out single, moved to second on a groundout and scored on an RBI single by Holden.

Leadoff hitter Jordan Sheffield was 3-for-3 with a double and a home run for Millersville. She doubled and scored in the first inning and homered to start the fifth.

Wallick, Holden and senior 1B Cara McNeil (double) had hits for ESU.

Andraos improved to 8-7 for Millersville. Liguori (6-4) took the loss for ESU after winning her last two starts.
