Samantha Miller tied for 37th to lead East Stroudsburg University at the sixth annual Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester University on Sunday and Monday at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
ESU finished ninth in a field of 10 schools, which included seven PSAC institutions.
Simons (96-98) and Miller (99-95) both shot two-day scores of 194. Senior
Malene Frost and
Mackenzie Mathna tied for 44th at 207, and senior
Kayla Grossi shot a 98 on Sunday before withdrawing from the tournament.
Kutztown won the team title at 682, edging Millersville (685) by three shots and West Chester (688) by six shots. West Chester held a nine-shot lead after the first day.
Millersville's Shannon Weber was the medalist (163) against a field of 49 finishers. Kutztown's Hope Giordano and West Chester's Lacey Bensing tied for second at 167. Weber had the only round in the 70's for the weekend, carding 79 on Monday.
The par-72 course played at 5,845 yards.
The Warriors finish the 2014-15 season next weekend (Sunday-Monday) with the ESU Invitational at Glen Brook Golf Club.
