EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior attack Kaitlynn Wiltraut scored seven goals, junior attack Lauren Nunes netted the 100th goal of her career and East Stroudsburg University scored the final 10 goals in an 18-8 victory over Edinboro in PSAC women's lacrosse on Saturday at Whitenight Field.

Wiltraut had seven goals and an assist for eight points - including four goals and an assist in ESU's closing 10-0 run over the final 15:30.

Nunes had two goals and two assists, giving her 101 goals in her career at ESU. She is the 16th ESU player to score 100 career goals, and has 41 goals and 27 assists for 68 points - in the top 10 in school history - this season.

Freshman midfielder Chessie Rahmer added three goals for the second straight game, after recording her first career hat trick and scoring the game-winning goal with 5:10 remaining in Friday's 14-13 win over No. 15-ranked Bloomsburg, ESU's first over a nationally-ranked team since 2010.

Six other players scored one goal each for ESU (8-6, 4-6) - senior midfielder Whitney Wilkinson, junior midfielder Annastasia Porpora, sophomore attack Kristina Caprio, sophomore attack Lauren Green, redshirt sophomore midfielder Jamie Zimmer and freshman midfielder Alicia Stratten.

ESU had a 20-7 advantage in draw controls in the contest with junior attack Samantha Weinert grabbing seven and junior defender Caitlyn O'Connell recording six.

ESU nearly doubled up Edinboro (6-8, 3-8) in shots (36-19) and had a 13-10 edge in turnovers.

The Warriors led 8-5 at halftime before Edinboro scored the first three goals of the second half to tie the game at 8-8 with 16:42 remaining.

Stratten intercepted a pass from Edinboro's goalkeeper, Paige Skinner, and deposited it for a 9-8 lead with 15:30 remaining, then ESU scored four more goals in the next 137 seconds to extend its lead to 13-8 with 13:13 left.

Wiltraut scored on a free position shot, Nunes and Porpora scored unassisted and Rahmer scored from Wiltraut in the stretch.

Wiltraut scored ESU's next two goals, the second assisted by Nunes, then Nunes scored unassisted and Wiltraut converted a free position for her seventh goal of the game with 3:41 remaining. Zimmer scored a free position to set the final margin.

Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Fitzsimmons had nine saves for ESU and helped hold Edinboro to 2-for-5 on free position shots.

Wiltraut tied her career-high with seven goals and has 40 goals and seven assists this season. She finished the contest with 98 career goals and 113 points, including 15 assists.

Nunes moved into ninth at ESU with 68 points this season. She ranks 11th with 154 career points.

ESU has two games remaining, both against nationally-ranked teams - a trip to Seton Hill (currently No. 17) on Wednesday, and its final home game vs. West Chester (No. 16) next Saturday at 1 p.m. at Whitenight Field.
