EAST STROUDSBURG - Emily Gilbert shot a round of 78 to lead Alvernia to the team title at the ESU Invitational, held Tuesday at Glen Brook Golf Club.
 
Alvernia shot a team score of 392 to top East Stroudsburg University by seven shots.
 
Gilbert carded a 34 on the back nine for a 14-stroke margin of victory.
 
ESU sophomore Samantha Miller was runner-up at 92 and senior Bridget Simons was third with a 96.

ESU will compete in the Clarion Invitational at Clarion Oaks Golf Club on Sunday and Monday.
