Syrandin Deere Vester scored first-half goals as East Stroudsburg University held off Millersville for a 2-1 road win in PSAC women's soccer on Tuesday night.
Ortiz scored 8:00 into the game and Deere Vester scored off a corner kick in the 36th minute for the Warriors (4-1, 4-1 PSAC), who won their third straight game after a 3-2 loss at Shippensburg on September 5.

Jules Harris had six saves and ESU held a 14-11 advantage in shots. Samantha Wolfe had nine saves for Millersville (2-3, 2-3).
Ortiz's goal was her second of the season and the fourth of her career. Deere Vester's was her second of the season and the fifth of her career.

ESU, the defending PSAC champion, improves to 24-2-1 overall, 19-2 in PSAC regular season games and 22-2 vs. PSAC schools in all competition since the start of last year.
The Warriors improve to 59-0-4 when leading at halftime under ninth-year head coach
Rob Berkowitz, and 60-0-1 when leading by at least two goals at any point during the game.
ESU is 11-1 against Millersville under Berkowitz, including 6-1 on the road.
ESU hosts Mercyhurst on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
